Dear friends,
Nasim and Jafar Edrisi sold many of their possessions in Iran a year ago to fund their journey of spreading their message of peace and environmental conservation . They have traveled through many countries and have planted 33 peace trees so far. They are going to start their
journey at west of the United States in Spokane and plant a peace tree in Pauli Judd park.

I would like to invite you to join us and celebrate peace on Saturday, May 10th. at 9 AM at Pauli Judd park and later at a reception at the Community Building at 6 PM.
Bicyclists are invited to meet Nasim and Jafar at the Manito park pavilion between 8:30 and 8:45 AM. They will then bike as a group to Pauli Judd park and be greeted by a group of friends. For those of you who do not want to bike, you can meet us at Pauli Judd park at 8:30 AM.
A group of five Spokanites will be at the park serving pancakes. This group of 5 will be going to Iran in September to plant a peace tree in a major park in Tehran. The tree planting ceremonies will commence once the bicyclists arrive at the Pauli Judd park. To go to this park, go South on Maple and take a right going West on 14th. It is located at the end of the street.
Later that same day, a reception will be help at the Community Building, located on 35 West Main Ave. from 6 to 8 PM. Nasim and Jafar will do a slide show presentation and answer any questions. There will be live music and some Iranian and middle-eastern food will be served. This event is open to the public and free of charge, but donations will help us recover some of the expenses.

Following the reception, there will probably be a wonderful Iranian movie shown at Magic Lantern, starting at 8 PM. The movie is called BAM 6.6. The showing of the movie is not yet a %100 confirmed though

Peace,
Shahrokh Nikfar
