After 3 days stop in Kyoto on September 30th we left to Osaka. It was so exiting moment to meet a lot of new friends who joined to welcome us to start cycling from Kyoto to Osaka. Miss Ogawa and all the friends at Code Pink Japan, Mr. Shojo Umeda the president of WSFOsaka Organization, friends of Peace road cycling and other wonderful peace activists who participated with this beautiful welcoming ceremony joined us. As we mentioned before Code Pink Japan had arranged some events for us in Osaka and other cities. the first plan was cycling through Peace Road which starts from Kujo street in Kyoto and ends to Kujo street in Osaka, the road is about 50 kilometers
Kujo in Japanese means number 9. Number 9 for all the peace loving Japanese people who are familiar with the article 9 in Japanese constitution is very valuable and mean full
Article 9 of the Japanese constitution renounces war as a means of settling international disputes and prohibits the maintenance of armed forces and other war potential. Article 9 is an international oath declaring No to War. Now what peace organizations in Japan are doing is to work seriously on a global campaign. The Global Article 9 campaign to Abolish War encourags people and governments to adopt similar peace laws in every country, and work towards demilitarization and a culture of peace
Every year on May 10th (the day of constitution which is a national holiday in Japan) peace road cycling organization arranges a bike ride on the peace road (Kujo Kyoto to Kujo Osaka) with this message: “come and bike all together along the peace road on the day of constitution”. There was not 10th of May, but it was an honor for us to ride our bikes on the peace road with our new friends Takahashi Kazuyuki (the leader) and Yamaguchi Shinji the member of PRC Organization. It was the first time for us in Japan to ride on bike path which was very safe and pretty. Yamaguchi and Takahashi where full of positive energy and welcoming people. The riding time passed full of joy and love. Later we became very close friends. After getting to Osaka there was a welcome party and reception for us to present our mission. What was so interesting in this event was planting 8 trees. As you know in Japan there is not much free room and places to arrange tree planting, but Miss. Nobuyo Fujinaga had a wonderful idea. She had brought 8 beautiful Happiness Trees (Shivasae Noki). People who had came for the presentation got these 8 trees and each of them became responsible to take care of the trees. Junko Komori who was a Japanese teacher in Mongolia. Junko who is Hisae's close friend was really kind and hospitable. We had really nice time together. In the morning when wanted to leave Osaka to Hiroshima in a rainy day we planted some Tulip seeds 4 together. “When the spring comes and the flowers bloom, they will remind me of you. I am so happy to be a part of your mission” said Junko when she hugged Nasim warmly
While we were in Osaka and other cities around, we had the busiest schedule of tree planting and presentations in Japan. Hisae patiently supported us and helped us as the interpreter. We want to mention the places and people who we met in city of Osaka, Suita and Sakaie city
On October 1st we planted our 56th tree at Senshu Nursing Technical College in Sakae city. We named this tree Bist o Shesh (in Farsi means 26) in honor of the 26 students who participated with this ceremony. At the end of presentation and tree planting we joined them on their class which was the other new experience for us to see the young new nurses who are getting their lessons. It was so touching for us to meet with some of the old ladies who were the victims of Atomic bombing in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 1945. One of them who hugged Nasim with her eyes full of tears encouraged us to work hard and keep going for Peace. “You gave me a lot of hope for having a peaceful world. please keep working for peace” she said
We had some slide shows for members of New Japan women association, English students of Glocal institute, Suita city office workers and a meeting with Mr. Akio Kinoshita one of the representative of Suita city. We also visited some environmental centers like Hana To midori (Center of flowers and greens) and Aozora foundation who participated with the Quinces tree planting
At Hana to Midori center we were also able to register for planting a Cherry tree which will planted on January 2009 as a part of our green belt of peace around the world
The most touching event for us was joining the presentation of 2 Vietnamese friends Miss. Huynh Ngoc Van (the vice director of War Remnants Museum) and Miss. Huynh Thi Kieuthu who was cycling for peace
All these days passed by really touching, sad and also nice time. All of the hands and eyes were full of hope and love. Every body wrote down their messages and wishes for peace on our banner. Who can control themselves when the tears on eyes showed all of our feeling about what had happened to the human being during the war time and what the human being want to have to be happy
May peace prevail on earthکاشت 13 درخت صلح در کشور ژاپن
پس از اقامتی 2-3 روزه کیوتو را به سمت اوساکا در تاریخ نهم مهرماه (30 سپتامبر 2008) ترک کردیم. در این روز 2 نفر از اعضای گروه دوچرخه سواری Peace Road Cycling با هماهنگی گروه صلح جوی Code Pink و حمایت آقای شوجی اومدا (Shoji Umeda) رئیس سازمان WSF Osaka و جمعی از دوستان ژاپنی در خیابان Kujo شماره 9 کیوتو به ما ملحق شدند تا مسیر تقریبا 50 کیلومتری تا خیابان نهم اوساکا را رکاب بزنیم.
عدد 9 برای صلح طلبان ژاپنی عددی مقدس به شمار می آید، زیرا در بند 9 قانون اساسی آنها آمده است که ژاپن دیگر نباید در هیچ جنگی شرکت کرده و یا آنرا حمایت کند. احداث هرگونه تجهیزات و تشکیل نیروهای ارتشی در این کشور ممنوع می باشد. در حال حاضر پایه و اساس اصلی گروه جهانی بند 9 انجام فعالیتهای فرهنگی بسیاری در جهت افزودن این بند به سایر قوانین اساسی کشورهای دیگر می باشد. یکی از دلایل اصلی تصویب این قانون هم از بین رفتن و کشته شدن بسیاری از مردم بی دفاع در جنگ جهانی و بمباران هیروشیما و ناکازاکی می باشد.
یاماگوچی و تاکاهاشی عضو گروهی هستند که هر ساله در روز قانون اساسی که تعطیلی رسمی در کشور ژاپن می باشد (دهم ماه می هر سال) مسیر بین خیابانهای 9 در شهر را به مسافت 50 کیلومتر با شعار " بیایید با هم در طول مسیر صلح در روز قانون اساسی رکاب بزنیم" دوچرخه سواری می کنند. آنها با این ایده زیبا مسیر بین کوجو کیوتو تا کوجو اوساکا را جاده صلح نامیده اند.
با کمک و راهنمایی ها و همراهی آنها مناظر بسیار زیبایی را در مسیر دوچرخه سواری و در کنار رودخانه تجربه کردیم. اولین باری بود که در کشور ژاپن در امنیت کامل و در مسیر مخصوص دوچرخه رکاب می زدیم.
در انتهای روز برای جمعی از دوستان ژاپنی اسلاید شویی از ایران و سفر نمایش دادیم و در انتها نیز موفق به کاشت 8 درخت شدیم. البته اینبار کمی متفاوت!!!
ژاپن کشوری کوچک و پر جمعیت می باشد، به این دلیل اکثر فضای خانه ها و مکان ها در سایز های بسیار کوچک ساخته شده اند. این مسئله باعت به وجود آمدن مشکلاتی برای هماهنگی کاشت درخت شده بود ولی خانم نوبویو فوجیناگا (Nobuyo Fujinaga) از فعالان صلح با ابتکاری جالب 8 درخچه کوچک (Shivasae Noki) به معنای درخت خوشبختی را که به شکلی زیبا تزئین شده بودند همراه آورده بود و قرار شد بین مردم پخش کنند تا هر کس در محلی مناسب آنها را بکارد.
بعد از مراسم نیز خوردن یک شام دست جمعی از انواع موجودات عجیب دریایی که اکثرا خام سرو می شوند، حسابی دلچسب بود!!!

http://www.geocities.jp/wsfosaka/iran.htmlمدت 6 روز را در YMCA youth hostel اقامت داشتیم که هزینه آن توسط گروه Code Pink و سازمان WSFOsaka پرداخت شده بود. یک شب هم میهمان خانم جونکو کوموری (Junko Komori) از دوستان صمیمی هیساا بودیم. او که در کشور مغولستان زبان ژاپنی تدریس می کند، زنی بسیار مهربان و مهمان نواز بود. صبح روز خداحافظی و در روز ترک اوساکا به سمت هیروشیما همه با هم زیر قطره های باران چندین پیاز لاله در یک گلدان کاشتیم. جونکو به گرمی نسیم را در آغوش گرفته بود و می گفت با شروع فصل بهار و شکوفا شدن این گلهای لاله من به یاد شما خواهم بود. خوشحالم که خانه من نیز بخشی از سفر سبز شما می باشد.
در این مدت بیشترین و مهمترین کارهای فرهنگی در این کشور به انجام رسید که اگر بخواهیم به طور کامل آنها را بنویسیم بسیار زمانبر است و فقط به شکل فهرست وار یادداشت می کنیم. لازم به ذکر است که در تمامی این برنامه ها که تعداد آنها بسیار زیاد می باشد خانم هیساا اوگاوا (Hisae Ogawa) مدیر کدپینک ژاپن ما را همراهی می کرد. هیساا که خانمی حدودا 70 ساله بود با صبوری و اشتیاق فراوان کار مترجمی را نیز به عهدا گرفته بود.
در هر شکل و مکانی که فرصتی داشتیم، سعی کردیم تصاویری از ایران را برای مردم عادی پخش کنیم، عکس العملهای دوستان ژاپنی و نحوه تعجب کردن آنها از دیدن تصاویر بسیار جالب و جذاب بود. ما سعی داشتیم با نمایش تصاویری از تمام انسانها، کودکان، طبیعت و موجوداتی که در طول راه دیده ایم، تصویری متفاوت و واقعی را در ذهن آنها بوجودآوریم و نشان بدهیم که دیگران چگونه برای صلح و طبیعت تلاش می کنند و از آنها نیز یاد بگیریم که چگونه مردم ژاپن در این موارد فعالیت می کنند.
- در روز چهارشنبه دهم مهرماه مصادف با اول اکتبر درخت 56م (Berry tree) به ژاپنی ایچیگو (Ichigo) در دانشکده پرستاری (Senshu Nursing Technical College) شهر سوئیتا کاشته شد. برای این درخت به مناسبت اینکه 26 نفر دانشجو تا چند روز دیگر موفق به دریافت لباس، کلاه و مدرک پرستاری می شدند،اسم بیست و شش انتخاب شد.

لحظاتی تاثیر گذار، غم انگیز و به نوعی شیرین بر ما گذشت. جای همه دوستان عزیز خالی. دستانی گرم و چشمانی مشتاق برای فردایی بهتر و تجربه زیبایی های زندگی. نگاههای سرشار از عشق و امید تشنه صلح و آرامش. پیامهای که با تمام وجود و احساس بر روی پرچم صلح سبز ما شکل می گرفتند. چگونه می توان احساس خود را نهان کرد، که حس نمناک اشک بر روی صورت، آنرا نمایان می کرد
